Feathered Empy Nest

21C hotels are contemporary art museums with perfectly appointed rooms - not only is there a museum in the hotel, but there are art installations throughout the hotel in unexpected places like the men’s room and the elevators in Nashville.

Each hotel has a different colored, child sized, plastic penguin as a mascot. You will find that these move around the hotel during the night. They will even show up at your table when you dine in the hotel’s restaurant.

There are currently eight hotels located in some of the best ‘plan a trip around’ locations including Bentonville, Cincinnati, Durham, Kansas City, Lexington, Louisville, Nashville and Oklahoma City. Soon they will be opening in Des Moines, Chicago and Miami. We’re determined to stay at every one.

We can’t say enough about the wonderful experience from the comfortable rooms, exhibitions, award winning restaurants, and the fabulous staff.

These beautifully whimsical hotels are decorated with care by Kit Kemp. They feel special and comfortable at the same time. They have a wonderful high tea (gluten free with advanced reservations) and lovely gardens.
