Nashville

music city and so much more

Nashville has so much to offer. You can see live music all over town. There’s a vibrant art scene including art museums, galleries and an abundance of murals around town.

Stay

21C Nashville - Our favorite group of hotels. It’s a hotel and 24 hour contemporary art museum.  They’re dog friendly. Feathered Empty Nest Pick: Even if you don’t stay here you should visit the bar and visit the art gallery. Here’s a virtual tour of the hotel and galleries.

The Bobby Hotel - Historic hotel with an art exhibit in the lobby, Lonely Hearts Bar, Tavern restaurant, and rooftop bar Feathered Empty Nest Pick: In the Winter you can reserve an igloo at the rooftop bar

The Hermitage - This Beaux arts style, luxurious hotel and wedding venue was built in 1910. Amenities include Molton Brown bath products, dog friendly rooms and cookies and lemonade in the lobby daily. The Oak Bar was formally a private gentlemen’s club in the early 1900’s.

The 404 - Located in The Gulch neighborhood, this small King suite hotel has a modern relaxed vibe with local photography. Check out the 404 Kitchen for brunch.

Airbnb - there are some great, affordable Airbnbs in Nashville but you will need to pay attention to noise levels. Bars in Nashville have loud, late night music 7 days a week and can be heard for blocks.
